Little Owl premiered the B side to their forthcoming 7″ today, “Christmas Nights”, via Listen Before You Buy.  The track features the Magik*Magik Orchestra, and is in fact quite magical itself! It was recorded at John Vanderslice’s Tiny Telephone studios, and it comes out May 29th but is available for is available for pre-order now by clicking here.  Stream the track here!

Little Owl Kick Off Tour and Celebrate the Release of Their 7″ at Yoga Soup!

Santa Barbara’s Little Owl will start their West Coast tour on May 25th at Yoga Soup in their home town!  Not only will this show kick off their tour but it will also be the official celebration for the release of their much anticipated 7″, out officially May 29th on Cool Summer Records.  Joining Little Owl at Yoga Soup will be the incredible Hosannas from Portland, OR, as well as fellow Santa Barbara acts The Wools and Travers Adler.  More Little Owl tour dates to be announced soon!

Crimson Scarlet Plays Death Rock Night Terrors This Friday, April 27th

Cool Summer Records is Pleased to Introduce Little Owl

It’s official, CSR’s third release will be a forthcoming 7″ for the magnificent Little Owl!  Hailing from our hometown of Santa Barbara, Little Owl have been crafting their brand of gypsy-psych tinged folk-pop for a while, first with their EP recorded by Shane Mckillop of Gardens and Villa, and now with their 7″, recorded at John Vanderslice’s Tiny Telephone Studios.  The 7″ will officially be released May 29th.  Stay tuned for more Little Owl updates coming soon, and in the meantime listen to “Tucked Away, Our Home Our Mountain,” the A side from the 7″ here…
